Our school leaders are doing the best they can with what they are given. These incredible leaders are trained educators, and not strategists, or marketing and communication experts. Yet each school functions both like a nonprofit and a brand. Communities have choice where their kids go to school, so leaders must align the strategic direction of the school with community priorities, while also addressing the constant shifts in educational trends.
